Banquet Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to assist the Director of Banquets in oversight and coordination of all aspects of banquet operations. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service and a seamless experience for our guests while managing staff and resources effectively.


 

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing recommendations and solutions.

- Supervise banquet staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure high-quality service.

- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all necessary items are available for events.

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.

- Monitor event setups and breakdowns, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during events.

- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, vendors, and staff.

 

Requirements

 

 - Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
