We are seeking an energetic self-starter for a communications internship for Summer 2026. Internships may only be filled by current college students.

Job Duties:
Assist the CCPH Communications Coordinator in developing print and digital marketing materials (examples may include flyers, brochures, postcards, landing pages, etc.). Write and edit content for the website. Work with the Communication Coordinator to create engaging content, including photos and videos across all social media channels, and adhere to branding standards. Attend community events to promote the agency.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must be working on or have a degree in communications, graphic design, public health, health education, or a related field. Must be a self-starter and independent worker. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn preferred. Must have regular attendance. Must have and maintain a driver's license to attend off-site events. If applicable, staff will assist in working with the student to meet the education requirements needed by an intern.
Hours – 16 hours per week (Monday – Friday). May be asked to work an occasional weekend or evening.

Clermont County Public Health offers a generous fringe package to all interns:
- Attractive Schedule - We follow an attractive work schedule of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (actual work days will be negotiated during hiring). Some evenings and weekend events may be required.
- Remote Work Option - Intermittent remote work may be an option for this position, depending on circumstances.
- Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) – All employees contribute 10% of their salary to PERS, and the agency contributes 14%. The estimated value based on the above salary is $3,145 annually. Employees do not pay federal Social Security tax from income; all contributions go directly towards PERS.
- Deferred Compensation Plans– Employees may contribute to tax-deferred supplemental retirement accounts.
