Director of Creative Services 2026-2027

The Director of Creative Services (DCS) shall have responsibility and authority to create original materials for all RHA advertising, RHA social media accounts, and other promotional materials, with approval of the Chief Publicity Officer.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Designer and manager of RHA publicity, including marketing materials, merchandise, and social media as needed.
- Consultant with RHA leadership, constituents, and committees to assist in advertising and promotional materials upon request with two-week notice.
- Assistant to Media Entertainment staff in producing original content for RHA On Demand.
- Co-maintainer alongside the Chief Publicity Officer of all RHA branding guidelines, including updates and enforcement.
- Promoter of RHA On Demand campus-wide with the assistance of the Chief Publicity Officer.
- Supervisor of Event Public Relations Staff
- Submitter of all produced materials to the Chief Publicity Officer for approval.
- Maintainer of current media content on RHA social media outlets in conjunction with the Chief Publicity Officer.
- Collaborator with the Chief Publicity Officer in meetings with the Executive Board and RHA staff to promote and advertise specific positional services, programs, and events.
- Assistant to the Chief Publicity Officer in coordinating and maintaining contacts with MSU Printing Services and approved MSU licensed vendors.
- Co-developer and leader of promotional strategies at the beginning of the Fall Semester in conjunction with the Chief Publicity Officer.
- Assistant in the creation of campaigns in years of tax referendums.
- Worker of minimum 5 hours, maximum 15 hours per week, including attendance at applicable meetings.
- Subordinate directly to the Chief Publicity Officer.
Must be available for the following:
- Bi-weekly Team Meetings - Mondays 7-9 pm
- General Assembly and Committee Meetings - Wednesdays 7-9 pm
- Fall Training (one week before school starts) and for welcome week events as needed)
- Spring Training (usually the day before school starts in spring)
- Attending and volunteering for RHA events throughout the academic year as directed
Hourly: 15 Hours Weekly paid on a bi-weekly basis.
