Media Entertainment Staff Member 2026-2027

Media Entertainment Staff assists with events, promotional content, and technology rentals for constituents. This role helps create engaging media experiences and supports smooth operations across RHA programming.

Duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Assistant to the Entertainment positions within Leadership in fulfilling their duties. 
  • Creator of promotional images and videos for the RHA. 
  • Collaborator with leadership to promote campus events and general updates toward the RHA. 
  • Facilitator of RHA technology rentals by directly communicating with constituents and managing the rental form.
  • Coordinator of Campus Centre Cinema events, including planning, creating marketing materials, and event management. 
    • Making & serving popcorn
    • Distributing & checking tickets
    • Tracking attendance
    • Operate 35mm. digital projectors, Blu-ray players, and related equipment
    • Monitor picture and sound quality throughout each show
    • Assist students in showing and ensure they have no difficulty getting in and out

Hourly: 10 Hours Weekly paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Must be available for the following:

  1. Minimum of 4 in-person office hours a week 
    1. The RHA office is located in Holden G-7
  2. Fall Training (one week before school starts) and for welcome week events as needed)
  3. Spring Training (usually the day before school starts in spring)
  4. Attending and volunteering for RHA events throughout the academic year as directed
