Network Engineer Co-op

Title: Network Engineer Co-op

Number of Position(s):  1 

Duration: 3 Months+ 

Date: May 11th - August 21st, 2026 

Location: On-site in Naperville, IL or Virtual (in the US) 

 

Education Recommendations 

Currently a candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in the US. 

 

Your responsibilities

As part of our team, you will: 

  • Supporting network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, DNS, and DHCP 
  • Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks 
  • Help maintain our infrastructure, including dual-stack network design and management, dynamic routing protocols, and load balancing
  • Implement Firewall rules  

 

Your skills and experience

  • Dell, Omni, Nuage, 77xx, switches and routers
  • IPAM solutions 
  • Software Define Networking (SDN) 
  • Sysadmin skillset 
  • Ansible scripting  

It would be nice if you also had: 

  • Red Hat OpenShift (preferred) or VMware  
  • Kubernetes application deployment 
  • GCP (preferred) or Public Cloud  
  • GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory 
  • API / script development
