UCSD Dermatology Research Participant

The UCSD Dermatology Department is actively recruiting participants with ACNE or ECZEMA for research studies

Eczema aka Atopic Dermatitis, 

  • participants must have eczema on at least one of the following areas: arms, legs, or torso 
  • will include treatment at no cost

Acne,

  • must have back acne 
  • study involves skin swabs and optional biopsies, but NO treatments
  • seeking participants who plan to start Accutane aka isotretinoin with their usual dermatologist

MUST BE 18 or older to participate 

If you decide to take part you will receive:

  • Study related medical evaluation, including physical exam
  • Financial compensation for completed visits
  • Priority status for enrollment in the next phase of our clinical trials or priority dermatology clinic visits
