Cone Drive is looking for a Product Development Engineering intern for summer 2026.
*This internship will focus on Cone Drive’s Harmonic Gearing product line
Applicant Requirements:
- Strong foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering or similar degree paths
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an accredited engineering program
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate on a professional level
- Background or interest in computer programming (.NET windows applications and/or Next.js web applications) preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Cone Drive’s product development engineering team to plan, coordinate, and execute tests associated with Cone Drive’s Harmonic Gearing Solutions™ product
- Evaluate and document test results in order to draw conclusions and communicate findings/recommendations
- Assist Cone Drive manufacturing team to support optimization of production build processes
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
