MRO Inventory Intern

The Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Inventory Control Intern has the primary responsibilities of helping to organize the inventory storerooms and parts locations at GRAM’s downtown facilities, adding inventory, parts, and purchasing data in GRAM’s CMMS, assisting with part FMEAs as needed, and helping to receive incoming parts.

The intern will perform the following under the guidance and direction of the department Manager/Leadership:

  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct parts are in inventory and the correct number of items are in stock.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of all parts and inventory in eMaint, including transfers, adjustments, and cycle counts.
  • Execute inventory cycle counts, and physical inventories as required.
  • Help develop and implement improvements to existing MRO operational procedures and workflows to maximize departmental contribution and maximize cost efficiency.
  • Help identify and monitor obsolete and non-moving materials to identify and recommend items for disposition.
  • Help receive incoming inventory and parts and ensure they are properly placed in their designated locations.
  • Support GRAM’s Core Values.
  • Support Agency, customer, and vendor audits as needed.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Perform all other tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.
