Product Development Intern

About the Role/Responsibilities:

In this 12 week summer paid internship, you will be presented with a real research question that our lab is currently examining. Through literary research, wet bench lab work, and analytical testing, you will be given the tools to dive into this research question and synthesize your own experimentation and conclusions. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine contribution to ongoing development work, which has a real world impact on patient wellbeing. You will work closely with other scientists and have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will be exposed to many analytical techniques, FDA regulations, the drug development process, and much more. Previous experience in a lab setting is preferred. To find this role rewarding, it is crucial that you have an interest in real world applications of chemistry. Understanding scientific principles, a history of demonstrating technical leadership, problem-solving, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude are essential qualities for a candidate seeking this opportunity. Having an open mind and willingness to work both independently and with a small team in a deadline-driven environment is a must. You will be expected to provide presentations to the team; at minimum one on your proposed experimental design based on your guiding research question and one outlining your internship experience and results from your in-lab experience. Qualifications/ Requirements:

· Current college undergraduates / recently graduated individuals majoring in biology, chemistry, or related discipline.

· Previous experience in a lab setting is preferred.

· Ability to work 40 hours per week in-person during the Summer of 2026. The start date is flexible depending on candidate schedule, and there is a possibility for extension depending on our lab’s need and intern interest.
