Responsibilities:

• Attend university, college and departmental training sessions for Peer Advisors
• Comply with confidentiality laws and demonstrate integrity at all times
• Be comfortable with computers and technology
• Serve as a liaison between students and faculty
• Provide information and lead aviation tours for prospective aviation students
• Help maintain and update student records
• Assist with recruitment events and efforts as needed
• Ability to listen and follow instructions
• Good communication skills (verbal and oral)
• Work cooperatively with others
• Utilize time management skills
• Positive attitude and show initiative

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Be a current, enrolled student with 12 or more credits
• Declared in an AVTE major in QANR
• Have earned a 3.3 cumulative GPA or higher
• Have earned at least 45 total credits (12 from USU).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Aviation Technology – Professional Pilot Fixed Wing major
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Outlook
