About the Role:
HUB 61 is seeking a passionate, faith-filled student intern to join our summer team at The Jetty, our community ice cream shop. This internship is for students who love Jesus, enjoy serving people, and want to be part of a mission-driven nonprofit that shares God’s love in practical, joyful ways—one scoop at a time.
This role blends customer service, creativity, and ministry, making it ideal for students pursuing entrepreneurship, marketing, business, communications, and/or evangelism.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve ice cream and other menu items with excellence and hospitality
Create and assist with engaging social media content (posts, stories, short videos)
Assist with weekly inventory tracking and ordering
Help cultivate a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for customers and visitors
Represent HUB 61 and The Jetty’s mission with integrity and enthusiasm
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Assist with Sunday evening worship nights at the ice cream shop
Ideal Candidate:
A current college student or recent graduate
Has a personal love for Jesus and a desire to share His love with others
Friendly, reliable, and enjoys working with the public
Creative and interested in social media and storytelling
Curious about entrepreneurship, nonprofit work, and community outreach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
