Geotechnical Geodata Analyst

In the role of Geotechnical Geodata Analyst, you will be identifying coordinates and cataloging data for geotechnical reports across the Enbridge System. It’s an excellent job for someone with a keen sense for geographical coordinate systems and applications, working with historical reports, and general MS office based software.
Placement Details:
This is a three month placement starting in June, located in Duluth, MN.
What you will do:
- Analyse geotechnical reports for geographic coordinate information
- Utilize ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Google Earth, ArcGIS Earth, and other software to assist in analysis
- Assign metatada to geotechnical report entries in an MS Excel/Sharepoint environment
- Create/improve PowerBI Reporting about geotechnical reports
- Consider use of Copilot AI to assist in tasks
- Assist in ArcGIS map development
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Land Survey, GIS, Civil Engineering or other curriculum containing geocoordinate system and applications knowledge and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
- Basic knowledge of geographic coordinate systems
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS
Working Conditions:
- Office based role, located in Duluth MN.
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
