International Teaching Fellowship Dominican Republic
This International Teaching Fellowship offers recently graduated Education and English majors the opportunity to gain meaningful classroom experience while living and working in the Dominican Republic. Fellows teach English at a K–12 school while engaging in structured professional development, cultural immersion, and reflective teaching practice.
This program is led by the Founder and Director of Colegio Intelecto, a proud Lesley University alumna (M.Ed., 2004).
The program is designed to prepare early-career educators for diverse classroom settings by strengthening instructional skills, cultural competence, adaptability, and professional confidence.
Participants receive a monthly stipend of approximately USD $700 (cash). In addition, the school provides fully furnished housing, utilities, and local support at no cost to the participant. Given the cost of living in the Dominican Republic, participants are able to live comfortably on the stipend. Medical insurance is also included.
