Quality Assurance Analyst Internship (Remote)

Our team is looking for passionate students who are looking to expand their education with hands-on testing experience in a game development quality assurance department! TwinRayj Studios is an innovative gaming company focusing primarily on mobile games for iOS Devices. 

Please Note: You must own an iOS* Device or a Windows PC in order to be a quality assurance tester with us at this time. 

*iOS includes iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers.

Our internships are educational and eligible for college credit (if your school approves it). They are otherwise unpaid.

 

Duties 

  • Test games for all issues and write a detailed report for everything found. Reports should include screenshots/videos, steps to reproduce, and any other useful information. 
  • Complete ad tracking tasks by fully watching and documenting up to 150 ads per week.
  • Complete alternative testing tasks as required, such as store testing. 
  • Attend weekly team meetings and, if applicable, mentorship meetings. Group meetings allow you to interact with team members, get useful information, and ask questions. 
  • Meet deadlines for all daily tasks. If for any reason your assigned task will not be completed, provide notice before the task is due.

  • Understands difference between bugs, preferences, and intentional design
  • Working towards or recently graduated with a game design or equivalent degree

Plus

  • Knowledge of game design components such as scripting languages, game engines, development cycles, and agile workflows
    • i.e. C#, Unity, and Scrum
