Early Childhood Program Assistant (Paid, Tues/Thurs Mornings) – Galoop, Chestnut Hill MA

Are you a college or graduate student who loves working with young children?
Galoop, a play-based early childhood program near Boston College, is hiring a Teacher Assistant for our Morning Program.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain real experience supporting toddlers and caregivers in a warm, collaborative environment.

Schedule & Pay

Tuesdays and Thursdays, approx. 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

In-person, starting ASAP

$50–$65 per morning (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

Set up and reset the classroom

Prepare simple materials and activities

Engage with toddlers and caregivers during play

Support circle time and group activities

Gain hands-on experience in early child development, caregiver–child dynamics,  play-based learning, and more.

Who You Are

Studying or interested in psychology, education, neuroscience, child development, speech, or related fields

Warm, reliable, and comfortable with both children and adults

Experience with young children preferred

Spanish/English bilingual a plus

About Galoop
A play-based morning program where children attend with a caregiver. This is not a drop-off daycare (galoopclasses.com).
