Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Kids Can Cope LLC is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Licensed Counselor (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW) to provide comprehensive mental health treatment services. Candidates must express a desire to work with children under the age of 12. Candidates should have experience with play therapy and other expressive therapies.
Responsibilities:
- provide individual and family therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds
- develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
- collaborate with other mental health professionals, schools, and medical providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and document progress towards treatment goals
- Attend and participate in teem meetings or case consultations
- ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- active license as a mental health counselor, social worker, psychologist, or related professional in MD
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong clinical and diagnostic skills and experience working with children
- ability to work independently
- empathy , compassion, and a commitment to client-centered care
