About the Role

Are you passionate about gaming and eSports? Do you enjoy working with young learners and sharing your knowledge? Our Introduction to eSports course gives K–12 students the chance to explore competitive gaming, teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and tech-savvy instructors to lead hands-on, in-person classes in El Cajon. Whether you’re a current college student, recent graduate, or aspiring educator, this is a fun opportunity to inspire young gamers while building teaching and leadership skills.

No prior teaching experience is required—we provide full curriculum and materials.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging after-school eSports classes using ready-to-go curriculum and resources
• Create a safe, inclusive, and exciting classroom environment
• Teach game strategy, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship
• Adapt lessons for different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
• Keep students actively engaged and manage classroom behavior effectively
• Track student progress and provide encouraging, constructive feedback
• Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and school staff
• Be punctual, organized, and proactive in running classes smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, outgoing, and tech-savvy personality
• Passion for gaming and understanding of eSports culture
• Comfortable using technology and classroom tools
• Patient, flexible, and confident working with children of all ages
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliable transportation to El Cajon class locations
