Camp Counselor

Make This Summer Unforgettable!
Are you energetic, creative, and ready to lead? Join Camp Phoenix at YWCA Hanover for an exciting, action-packed summer! We’re looking for counselors to lead our Kindergarten through 6th-grade campers in a summer full of adventure, growth, and community. 

The Camp Experience:

  • Lead weekly field trips, daily swimming, and high-energy special activities.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate play while following DHS regulations and maintaining Keystone STAR 4 standards.
  • Foster a safe, healthy environment and build professional bonds with local families.
  • We operate from 6 AM – 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • 2,500 hours of documented experience working with children.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Full availability from June 1st to August 14th.
  • A willingness to drive our school-age van is a major plus!
  • Ability to provide 4 clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI, NSOR), 2 recommendation letters, and a physical with a TB test.
