This Intern will work with the MSAT team on a variety of tasks and projects that support manufacturing operations and functions.

The Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Process and Product Support Intern will perform the following under the guidance and direction of the department Manager/Leadership:

  • Support the MSAT team with studies on the fill equipment, Clean in Place (CIP) Skid, and formulation processes. 
  • Develop, write, and execute protocols to collect data around new and existing equipment/parameters.
  • Analyze data and propose actions moving forward. 
  • Create a templated process for performing dosing studies using Bausch and Stroebel filling lines. 
  • Improvement of end-to-end CIP process (focused on reducing any cross-contamination risk).
  • Direct and assist MSAT and manufacturing with change part carts. Learn how the fill line functions to help develop and write standard operating procedures (SOPs), test written SOPs, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure it suits their needs for change parts cart. Goals to decrease changeover time, reduce misplacement of parts, and streamline the process.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practice.
