Registered Behavior Technician/Student Trainee
Post Oak Autism Services is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for an in-home ABA therapy role in the Round Rock, and the surrounding Austin area.
This is hands on role that requires consistency, and understanding of behavior analytic concepts. An RBT implements treatment plan, supports skill acquisition and behavior management goals for children with Autism.
This role is ideal for someone who values structure, growth and meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
-Implement ABA treatment plans as written by supervising BCBA
-Deliver 1:1 therapy using play based and structured teaching strategies
-Collect accurate session data using electronic health record (EHR)
-Follow behavior intervention plans with fidelity and professionalism
-Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as required
-Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and supervisors
-Maintain client confidentiality and standards
-Travel between client locations as scheduled
Required Qualifications
-HS diploma
-Valid drivers' license
-Reliable transportation to sessions
-Ability to pass criminal background check
-Ability to engage in active play, sit on the floor, and lift up to 40lbs
-Willingness to maintain or obtain RBT certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of coursework in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field
-Experience working with children
-Current RBT certification (not required)
Training and Supervision
-Paid training for RBT trainees
-Unrestricted hour accrual for trainees pursuing BCBA certification
-Ongoing supervision and mentorship from BCBA
-Exposure to evidence based practices in applied behavior analysis
-Ability to grow within small, family owned ABA practice that focuses on child growth
Schedule and Compensation
-Part time and full time opportunities available
-Hours scheduled on weekdays based on client and staff availability
-Hourly pay based on experience, certification, and education
