As an Associate Account Manager, you will be assigned an initial book of small-group employer clients and/or support a senior account manager on larger, more complex accounts. You’ll help deliver outstanding service, analyze benefit programs, and support client meetings, reporting, and strategy discussions.

JOB ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the day-to-day management of employer benefit programs by serving as a liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Manage routine requests and build relationships with an assigned portfolio of small-group clients, under guidance from senior team members
- Assist with plan analysis, renewal presentations, open enrollment planning, and compliance deliverables
- Help develop and coordinate benefit communication materials tailored to each client
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, including plan documents, reports, and client communications
- Participate in client meetings and calls, supporting senior account managers and consultants
- Monitor and track project deadlines and client-specific service calendars
- Develop working knowledge of benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.) and vendor capabilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and take initiative to help enhance service delivery
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Human Resources, Communications, related field or job experience (preferred but not required)
- Internship or experience in customer/client service, project coordination, HR, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort interacting with professionals at all levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to obtain a Life & Health insurance license within the first 90 days (required; company-supported)

- Primarily office-based or remote with occasional travel for client meetings.
- Frequent use of computer and phone; extended periods of sitting and screen time.
- Occasional lifting of materials under 20 lbs.
