Research Assistant, CHP Health Services Administration
Position Type: Federal Work Study And Non Work Study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position supports the AI Program Strategy team in various capacities, including research, marketing, analytics, events management, and partnerships. The student will work under the supervision of Dr. Phillip Olla and collaborate with team members on various initiatives related to artificial intelligence programming and strategy.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Through this position, the student will have opportunities to develop professional skills, including AI & Technology Skills:
- Master effective AI prompting techniques and strategies for various applications.
- Develop proficiency in using AI tools for content creation, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Gain hands-on experience with website development and digital platforms.
- Learn to leverage AI for research, data analysis, and insights generation.
Communication & Marketing:
- Build professional writing skills for various audiences and formats.
- Create and manage social media content and digital marketing campaigns.
- Develop skills in brand messaging, content strategy, and audience engagement.
- Learn to analyze marketing metrics and optimize campaigns based on data.
Research & Analysis:
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize research findings.
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Requirements
- Must be a current student enrolled in an undergraduate program or graduate program at the University of Detroit Mercy. Qualifications.
- Current student athlete or recent graduate in health sciences, biology, chemistry, public health.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage respectfully with student participants.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage scheduling responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining participant confidentiality and ethical research standards.
Anticipated Schedule:
- 8-10 Hours Per Week
