Fall 2026 Makeup and Wig Assistant WLS Level 3

I.     WLS Level: 3

II.    Description Of Duties For This Position:

1. Assist make-up designers 
2. Maintain make-up and wig storage 
3. Instruct actors in application of make-up 
4. Run the make-up crew during productions 
5. Work with other designers involved in production 
6. Do work area maintenance.
7. Do sewing and basic costume construction.
8. See that the workplace and environments are clean and provide a healthy place to work. 
9. Job may be combined with that of costumer, or head costumer if applicants warrant this possibility.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

III. Learning Opportunities For This Position:

1. Position would allow student to learn both basic and advanced make-up 
2. Position would allow student to learn hair/wig techniques 
3. Position would provide design opportunities

IV.  Qualifications Needed For This Position:

1. General:  Good health, high energy level, courtesy and tact.
2. Skill:  Make-up; painting; crafts. 
3. Physical:  None.
4. Academic:  None
