Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Administrative/Personal Assistant Intern who is eager to learn and grow within the operations of an IT consulting business. In this role, you will work closely with the founder and leadership team, assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, project coordination, and business operations. This part time position (20 hrs./week to start with increasing hours available based on performance and availability) is designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to shadow senior management, gain insight into business operations, and develop key skills that are critical to the success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks, including managing schedules, responding to emails, and organizing meetings.
- Support the leadership team with project coordination, documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Help manage client communications and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Assist in maintaining project timelines and client deliverables.
- Prepare and organize reports, presentations, and other business documentation.
- Help with managing internal systems, software tools, and processes.
- Shadow the leadership team to gain an understanding of business operations and strategy.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help identify efficiencies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
- Highly organized with documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and operations is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
