Remote Sales & Marketing Intern — AI Tools, Research & CEO Mentorship

Job Description:
Kaplan Interpreting Services is a certified interpreting and translation agency with over 17 years of experience, serving Fortune 500 companies, leading law firms, healthcare organizations, and government agencies across 200+ languages. We've interpreted for presidential calls, multinational corporate events, and high-stakes legal proceedings — and we're just getting started.
We're looking for 2 sharp, hungry interns who want real experience — not busy work.

This internship is built for someone who's competitive, persuasive, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. You'll work directly with our CEO to develop outreach strategies, engage with prospective clients, and learn how deals actually get closed — not from a textbook, but by doing it. You'll also get hands-on exposure to the AI tools and automation platforms we're actively rolling out across our operations, giving you skills that most professionals are still scrambling to learn.

If you bring the energy, we'll bring the mentorship, the strategy, and the real-world experience that sets your résumé apart.

Key Responsibilities:
You'll be supporting strategic initiatives across client acquisition, market research, marketing, and operational efficiency — this is not a single-task role.Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn to qualify leads and support business outreach.
Develop and execute outreach campaigns, follow-up sequences, and messaging strategies tailored to our ideal client profiles.
Conduct in-depth market research — identifying potential clients, analyzing competitors, tracking industry trends, and uncovering new business opportunities.
Support the development of strategic reports, prospect lists, and data-driven insights that directly inform our growth strategy.
Collaborate on marketing content — social media posts, email campaigns, blog ideas — that speaks to decision-makers at law firms, hospitals, and corporations.
Help maintain and optimize our CRM system with a focus on data integrity, organization, and workflow automation.
Work alongside the CEO to coordinate meetings with key business prospects and support strategic planning.
Use AI tools to support outreach, content creation, and daily operations as part of the company's innovation initiatives.

Who You Are:

You have native or near-native English proficiency. Bilingual? Even better — we work across 200+ languages.
You're the person who starts conversations, not the one who avoids them. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
You communicate clearly and persuasively, both in writing and on calls.
You've got a competitive streak — whether that comes from sports, debate, gaming, or just wanting to win, you know what it feels like to push for results.
You think differently. Unconventional problem-solvers and people who question "the way it's always been done" thrive here.
You're self-motivated and don't need someone standing over your shoulder to get things done.
You're curious about AI, new technology, and how modern businesses actually operate. No prior experience needed — just genuine interest.
Previous CRM experience is a plus but not required.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a recent graduate.

What You Get:

Direct CEO mentorship — not a middle manager, not a team lead. You'll learn directly from our founder, who actively studies under top-level business mentors and shares those insights with the team in real time.
Real impact — we're a lean, fast-moving company. Your work directly affects our growth. You'll see the results of what you build.
AI and automation exposure — get hands-on experience with the tools and workflows that are reshaping how businesses operate.
Flexibility — remote position with flexible hours that work around your schedule.
Career launchpad — practical skills in sales, marketing, CRM management, and client engagement that apply to any industry.
Certificate of completion and professional references upon successful conclusion of the internship.
A team that's actually fun to work with — competitive, supportive, and building something meaningful.

If you want an internship where you learn by doing, work alongside a CEO who invests in your growth, and walk away with skills and stories that actually matter in a job interview — this is it.

To apply, send your CV and a cover letter telling us about your experience, what drives you, and why you'd be a great fit for Kaplan Interpreting Services to info@kaplaninterpreting.com.
