Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in clinic and school settings with a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, providing essential support to enhance their communication skills and overall development.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in children.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve patients' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide early intervention services for children exhibiting speech and language delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to evaluate communication disorders effectively.
  • Familiarity with early intervention strategies for young children.
  • Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $75.00 - $95.00 per hour
