Job Title: Marble Charter School Summer Program Coordinator

Job Summary: 

The Marble Charter School is seeking individuals to join our team for the summer of 2026 as a summer program coordinator. You will lead activities, supervise campers ages 5-14, and foster a positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and spend their summer in a memorable way! 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead summer program daily/weekly schedules and offerings in collaboration with the MCS director 
  • Supervise and collaborate with program staff
  • Create and maintain the program budget and finances
  • Perform other administrative duties as required
  • Drive a mini-bus and transport children to/from Carbondale/MCS daily
  • Ensure the safety of campers at all times
  • Lead and participate in camp activities, including sports, arts & crafts, swimming, hiking, team-building activities, and outdoor education
  • Establish and execute camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • Take the lead in ensuring school facilities, grounds, and equipment are clean, safe, and ready to support daily summer programming

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. 
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting is preferred. 
  • CPR and First Aid certification (able to obtain before summer program)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and a passion for working with children
  • 14 passenger mini-bus driver’s certification (training provided)

Compensation:

  • $30.00/hour 
  • Full-time, Monday - Thursday, June 15 - August 7, 2026, plus two additional days before/after program to carry out coordinator responsibilities
  • PERA Contribution

Location:  

This position is located at Marble Charter School in Marble, Colorado.   Programming is centered in Marble, with regular weekly excursions to the Roaring Fork Valley.
