Social Video Editor
The Collaboration
We’re building Clore, a wildfire defense startup, and we have a ton of raw footage that needs to be turned into actual content. We don’t need a Hollywood cinematographer, just need someone who gets social media and can edit clips that people actually want to watch.
If you’re a student who spends way too much time on TikTok/Reels and knows how to put a video together quickly, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
What you’ll actually be doing:
Taking our raw recordings (demos, chats, BTS) and cutting them down into 10-60 second clips. Maybe some longer form content later.
Adding captions that aren't boring, subtitles, some well-timed emojis, and decent background music.
Keeping an eye on what’s trending so we don’t post outdated content.
Making sure the final export looks clean and is ready to post.
You’re a good fit if:
-You use CapCut, Premiere, or whatever tool gets the job done fast.
-You understand hook, body, CTA without us having to explain it.
-You’re reliable. We won't micromanage you, but we do need you to hit your deadlines.
-You’re looking for a side gig that looks good on a resume and is cool to do.
Why work with us?
No corporate BS here. You’ll work directly with the founders, get paid on time, and have a massive influence on our brand's voice. Plus, we’re totally fine working around your exam schedule or heavy hand-in weeks.
Let's Talk
-Send your resume and a fun sentence or two about you
-A link to anything you’ve edited (a portfolio, your own TikTok, a class project, whatever shows your style).
