The Role
- Equipment Operation & Testing
- Operate a variety of laboratory and testing equipment to evaluate film performance and material properties
- Conduct mechanical, optical, and advanced analytical tests such as strength, thickness, clarity, seal performance, permeability, and thermal analysis
- Prepare and handle test samples accurately to ensure reliable and repeatable results
- Review test results to identify trends, outliers, or results that may require follow-up
- Data, Analysis, & Safety
- Accurately record and organize test data and observations
- Interpret results related to material performance, structure, and processing conditions
- Compile findings using Microsoft Office tools and share insights with cross-functional teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in compliance with all safety protocols
- Ensure proper documentation, storage, and traceability of samples and test results
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible)
- Fall Internship (August - December)

What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- Pursuing BS in Engineering: Chemical, Packaging, Plastics or Industrial with an emphasis on Plastics/Polymers. Pursuing BS in Chemistry or Polymer Science with appropriate emphasis may also qualify.
- Demonstrate skills in organization, attention to details, setting priorities and sound decision making
- Detail oriented and ability to be self-motivated.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management, teamwork, leadership, eye for detail, thoroughness and composed under pressure.
- Be able to manage & prioritize multiple projects/tasks in order minimize response time.
- Demonstrate a continuous professional attitude with all levels of internal and external personnel.
