Senior SEO Specialist

We’re seeking a Mid–Senior Level SEO Specialist who’s both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor. You’ll manage SEO performance across multiple orthodontic clients — optimizing their websites, Google Business Profiles, and overall organic visibility.

Most of your time will be spent in the weeds: performing audits, making technical and content optimizations, analyzing data, and testing smart, scalable ways to drive measurable improvements.

What You’ll Do

Hands-On SEO Execution (Primary Focus) - (75%)

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to each orthodontic client.
  • Perform on-page optimization: keyword research, metadata, internal linking, external linking, monthly/bi-weekly blog creation/management, schema, and content recommendations.
  • Conduct technical audits (crawl depth, site speed, indexation issues, Core Web Vitals) and coordinate fixes with developers.
  • Execute local SEO strategies including GBP optimization, weekly GBP image updates, weekly GBP posts, NAP consistency, and local citation management.
  • Regularly update and enhance Google Business Profiles with photos, posts, and new information.
  • Monitor site analytics and rankings to identify opportunities and diagnose performance changes.
  • Partner with account managers, content writers, and developers to align SEO with website and marketing goals.
  • Contribute ideas to improve our agency’s SEO process and playbooks.
  • Lead monthly check-in calls where SEO performance needs to be discussed in order to outline current and future strategies to build client confidence.

Freelancer Management (Secondary Focus) - (15%)

  • Oversee offshore SEO specialists for any outsourced services.
  • Provide clear briefs, review deliverables for quality, and ensure tasks meet deadlines.
  • Maintain documentation and process consistency across accounts.

Reporting & Analysis - (10%)

  • Create monthly SEO performance reports using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and third-party tools (SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Track local visibility metrics, conversions, and traffic patterns, turning data into actionable insights.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–7 years of professional SEO experience, ideally in an agency or client service role.
  • Strong expertise in local SEO — you know what moves the needle in Google Maps and organic local rankings.
  • Fluency in technical SEO concepts and practical implementation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools including GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Proven ability to manage and QA offshore freelancers or vendors.
  • Excellent communication, accountability, and time management in a fast-moving, multi-client environment.
  • Comfortable toggling between strategy and execution—part analyst, part implementer.
  • Experience with WordPress, page-builders (Elementor) and basic HTML/CSS
  • (Nice to have) Orthodontic or healthcare SEO experience

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Measurable improvements in clients’ keyword rankings, local map presence, and organic conversions.
  • Clean, technically sound websites that follow SEO best practices.
  • Well-managed freelance resources producing consistent, on-time deliverables.
  • Clear, insightful monthly reports that highlight wins and guide next steps.
  • Spending a full 8-hours a day working through all required tasks and being proactive with your approach
  • Communicating with brevity and speed the moment an issue or question arises
