Speech-Language Pathologist

The Katherine Thomas School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, 10-month Speech Language Pathologist or CF, beginning with the current school year. KTS services students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or moderate to high functioning autism. This is a 10-month position) Equal Opportunity Employer

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students who exhibit communication learning problems related to speech, pragmatic language and autism. This position would be a split between High School and Middle School.

Required Experience for the Speech Language Pathologist:

• Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or equivalent degree
• Must be licensed by the State of MD
• Experience in Augmentative systems, Visualizing and Verbalizing and
• Social Thinking is a plus
• Have strong diagnostic evaluation and report writing skills
