"I consider my experience interning at Bennett Orchards invaluable. Coming from a non-agricultural background, it offered me a unique learning experience that I would not have gotten otherwise. Throughout the summer, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in every aspect of their operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of agriculture and business management. Upon completing the internship, they connected me to and facilitated my transition into a full-time management position at a nearby Agribusiness organization. I credit Bennett Orchards for kickstarting my career in agriculture, a journey that I continue today. As an Environmental Science major, I highly recommend interning with this family-run business for an unparalleled insight into business and farming. My internship experience with the Bennett Family not only prepared me for my current career but also opened the door to my current  path of employment. "

- Grady Hodge, Former Bennett Orchards' Intern, University of South Carolina '24, Management Team at Mountaire Farms
