Job Position: Special Education Teacher – Co-Teaching Role | Homer Glen, IL

Location: Homer Glen, IL 60491

Pay Rate: Starting at $50.00/hr

Shift: Full-time for the remainder of the school year

Description:

Birch Agency is currently hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team near Homer Glen, Illinois for the remainder of the school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a co-teaching setting, collaborating closely with general education teachers to support student success in an inclusive classroom environment.

Position Details:

Location: Near Homer Glen, IL

Schedule: Full-time for the remainder of the school year

Setting: Co-teaching / inclusive classroom

Starting Pay: $50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with general education teachers to deliver differentiated instruction

Support students with diverse learning needs

Implement IEP goals and accommodations

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications:

Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills
