3D Animation Intern

The Role

Upstream 360 is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented 3D Animation Intern to join our growing 3D team. This role is ideal for someone who loves visual storytelling, technical problem solving, and bringing complex ideas to life through motion and design. You will work hands-on with our 3D Director, Post-Production team, and Design team to refine, polish, and elevate real client projects, gaining valuable industry experience along the way.

 

We will trust you to:

  • Support the final stages of 3D production by refining and polishing existing projects
  • Assist with animation tasks, including simulations such as water, fabrics, and science-driven motion
  • Help improve texturing, lighting, and overall visual quality in Cinema 4D
  • Apply revisions and refinements based on creative feedback
  • Jump into projects at various stages and adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Assist with Photoshop compositing and visual touch-ups
  • Participate in creative reviews and collaborate with team members to meet project goals
  • Explore and assist with dynamics systems such as particles, gas, liquids, and force-based simulations

You will need to have:

  • A portfolio demonstrating 3D animation and design work
  • Experience with Cinema 4D and the 3D production pipeline
  • Basic knowledge of lighting, texturing, and rendering workflows
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for compositing and image refinement
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong visual communication skills
