Marketing Communications Associate

American Prime Sustainable Solutions is seeking a motivated and curious Marketing & Communications Associate / Intern to support our marketing, digital, and communications efforts as we grow our presence in the sustainable agriculture and ag-technology space.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants real-world experience working closely with leadership, technical teams, and external partners. The role offers exposure to agriculture, ag-tech innovation, data-driven products, and mission-driven communications. Prior experience in agriculture is not required, but genuine interest is important.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Digital Support
  • Assist with day-to-day marketing and communications activities across digital and social channels
  • Support posting, scheduling, and basic management of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Help maintain content calendars, organize digital assets, and support ongoing marketing initiative

Content & Communications

  • Support the creation of social media posts, short articles, newsletters, and website content
  • Help translate technical or complex topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content
  • Assist with announcements, event promotions, and partner communications

Brand & Visibility

  • Support consistent messaging and tone across platforms and materials
  • Assist with industry visibility efforts such as events, webinars, and thought-leadership activities
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external partners as needed

Learning & Growth

  • Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, communications strategy, and content development
  • Learn about sustainable agriculture and ag-tech innovation
  • Receive mentorship and take ownership of meaningful responsibilities on real projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Student, recent graduate, or early-career professional
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and basic digital tools
  • Organized, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with a small, fast-moving team
  • Internships, coursework, or academic projects count as experience.

Preferred Interests & Skills

  • Interest in marketing, communications, storytelling, or digital media
  • Interest in agriculture, sustainability, ag-tech, food systems, or environmental topics
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus
