Licensed Counselor
Alliance Work Partners (AWP) is a non-profit EAP located in Austin, TX. We are seeking counselors who have been fully licensed for at least one year to be our network partners. We are seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Counselors (LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, etc) to provide IN- PERSON mental health services from their own office. AWP represents companies that have staff in your area who are seeking IN-PERSON counseling services. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive counseling and psychotherapy to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote mental health and well-being. The Licensed Counselor will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed to ensure holistic patient care while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.
Duties
- Conduct short term, solution focused counseling sessions ($80/session).
- Conduct CISD if applicable ($130/hr).
- Conduct SAP assessments if applicable ($350/case).
- Provide individual, family, or crisis intervention counseling tailored to client needs, including specialized approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and research findings; adjust strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records following HIPAA guidelines and medical terminology standards.
- Facilitate intake sessions for new clients and provide ongoing support through in-person sessions.
- Offer specialized services such as addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or gender issues counseling as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of behavioral health practices, crisis management techniques, behavior management strategies, and medical documentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and participate in ongoing professional development as needed.
Skills
- Ability to see clients IN- PERSON. Network partners MUST have their own office to provide services.
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis, and other evidence-based practices.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients during emergencies.
- Experience working with children & family counseling, couples, special education populations, or individuals with disabilities or autism is desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and medical records management.
- Excellent patient assessment abilities coupled with case management skills for comprehensive treatment planning.
- Effective communication skills for individual/family/couples counseling sessions and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics related to grief, trauma (including PTSD), chronic pain counseling, addiction recovery, gender issues counseling, and social work practices.
