Government Affairs Summer Internship

Greenlee Partners, a government affairs firm located in Harrisburg, PA, is currently considering candidates for our summer internship. We offer a paid, in-person, internship to students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in state politics. Greenlee Partners is a premier lobbying firm with a historic reputation in Pennsylvania’s State Capitol and beyond. 

Our internship is open to any student or recent graduate interested in Business/Business Administration, Political Science and Government, Public Relations, Research and Development, and/or Law, and other majors.  

We are looking for candidates with relatively open and flexible schedules, who would be available between 8am and 5pm on non-session days, and 8am-5pm or later on session days. 

At this time, session days for the summer are as follows, these dates are subject to change:

June: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

Our Summer internship starts Mid-May and continues through Mid/End of August. Thus, interested candidates can expect a start date around the middle of May.

We are accepting resumes and cover letters for our Summer internship until March 6th, 2026.

Select candidates should expect pre-screening phone calls with a representative from our firm on March 10th or 11th.   

Candidates selected for interviews should expect to interview with members of our firm throughout March. If selected for an interview, in-person and virtual interviews will be offered: March 12th-20th with additional days added as needed.
