JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The High School Business Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and visual communication and technology. The teacher prepares students with foundational business knowledge, creative and technical skills, and real-world applications that support college, career, and workforce readiness.

Teach high school courses including Marketing, Introduction to Business & Entrepreneurship, and Visual Communication & Technology. Incorporate project-based learning, simulations, and real-world business applications. Teach foundational concepts such as branding, consumer behavior, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and business ethics. Integrate digital tools and design software to support visual communication, media, and technology-based instruction

 

JOB OBJECTIVE

  • Provide appropriate educational instruction to students assigned
  • Abide by the philosophy of district policy and rules and regulations as determined by the Board of Education and administration
