Internship Program Coordinator (Housing Available)

New Canaan Land Trust – New Canaan, CT
Full-Time | Seasonal | $800/week
May 26 – August 21, 2026

 

Love the outdoors? Enjoy leading others? Spend your summer running a hands-on conservation internship program.

The New Canaan Land Trust is hiring a motivated college student or recent graduate to lead our Summer Steward Internship Program. You’ll manage and mentor high school interns while working on trail maintenance, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, and other stewardship projects across 65+ preserves.

  • Passion for conservation and working outdoors
  • Experience leading teams or working with youth
  • Comfort using basic hand tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CPR/First Aid preferred. Must pass background and driving check.

Housing may be available.
