Role Overview:
This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to a pioneering educational technology startup. The intern will work directly with the development team to refine and expand the capabilities of our language learning platform, ensuring a seamless and effective learning experience for users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation and Development: Spearhead the development of new features, incorporating cutting-edge NLP and AI technologies to keep our platform at the technological forefront.
  • Data-Driven Enhancement: Utilize analytics and user feedback to refine existing generative AI services, increasing the adaptability and effectiveness of our language tools.
  • Service Optimization: Work collaboratively to streamline operations, focusing on cost-efficiency and quality enhancements that support scalable growth.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated project experience in Python and LLM prompting engineering. Bonus for experience in model finetuning and training.
  • Portfolio: 1-2 relevant projects, especially those involving large language models, NLP, or innovative uses of generative AI.
  • Academic Background: Pursuing or having obtained a degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Professional Skills: Exceptional adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and effective teamwork.
  • Commitment: Available for at least 20 hours per week. Flexible start date.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and demonstrated ability. Potential for future salaried position.
