Water Treatment Engineer
- Research/review existing literature regarding water/wastewater treatment
- Prepare research plans and protocols
- Construct small pilot systems on site, or oversee the construction of large pilot systems
- Conduct field operations and testing (raw water characterization, chemical feed control, field testing, and other related functions)
- Maintain records and perform all data collection. Complete data analysis, statistical analysis, report preparation
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Preferably FE/EIT
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel regularly. Depending on the location of a pilot study, commuting can be around an hour each way. If commuting times are unreasonable then overnight stays will be required (at the expense of Blueleaf).
- Ability to perform physical work. Pilot construction and demolition can involve lifting heavy equipment and the use of construction equipment.
