Water Treatment Engineer

  • Research/review existing literature regarding water/wastewater treatment
  • Prepare research plans and protocols
  • Construct small pilot systems on site, or oversee the construction of large pilot systems
  • Conduct field operations and testing (raw water characterization, chemical feed control, field testing, and other related functions)
  • Maintain records and perform all data collection.  Complete data analysis, statistical analysis, report preparation

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • 0-3 years’ experience
  • Preferably FE/EIT
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly.  Depending on the location of a pilot study, commuting can be around an hour each way. If commuting times are unreasonable then overnight stays will be required (at the expense of Blueleaf).
  • Ability to perform physical work.  Pilot construction and demolition can involve lifting heavy equipment and the use of construction equipment.
