Engaging Networks is a Software-as-a-Service platform used by mainly large nonprofit organizations for online fundraising, marketing and advocacy. Responsibilities and Duties
The intern will work with our Growth (Sales/Marketing/Partnerships) team, doing a variety of tasks aimed at helping us bring our technology to more world-changing nonprofit organizations. This will include helping us produce marketing content such as case studies, social media posts and webinar promotions. It also will include creating sales enablement content, such as vertical-specific web landing pages and 1-sheeter explainer documents (PDFs). They will gain a practical understanding of core go-to-market concepts, such as ideal customer profiles (ICP), buyer personas, and nonprofit industry segments. There will also be opportunities for the intern to apply this knowledge through prospect research and data analysis. The intern will support event planning and preparation for key industry conferences, including our presence at the Bridge Conference (Washington, DC) in summer 2026, gaining firsthand experience in event marketing and sales strategy. By the end of the internship, the intern will have produced real, portfolio-ready deliverables and developed a strong foundation in growth strategy, nonprofit technology and cross-functional collaboration.

We prefer candidates who have a demonstrated record of diving into new work opportunities and learning quickly, taking the initiative, asking lots of questions and delivering on the projects entrusted to them. Beyond this, we are looking for strong team players who care about their co-workers and strengthen our team culture. Because our clients are all nonprofits, we prefer candidates who have shown more than a casual interest in working with mission-driven, social impact organizations that are trying to make a better world.

Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, Nonprofit Management, Data Science and Analytics
College Level: We do not require our employees, or interns, to have a college degree or even to have attended college.
