Campus Worship Director

Thornapple Valley Church is seeking a part-time Worship Director to lead and grow the worship ministry at our Middleville campus. This role is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or emerging worship leader looking to gain hands-on ministry leadership experience in a healthy, team-oriented church environment.

The Worship Director helps plan and lead weekend worship services while developing volunteer worship and tech teams. You’ll work closely with experienced pastoral leadership and gain practical experience in worship leadership, team development, and church production.

What You’ll Do

• Lead worship during weekend services
• Help plan music, media, and overall service flow
• Recruit, train, and schedule worship and tech volunteers
• Oversee worship programming (lyrics, tracks, media)
• Help prepare and maintain the worship environment and set design
• Attend weekly meetings and receive ongoing coaching and development

• Ability to lead congregational worship (vocally and/or instrumentally)
• Leadership potential and a desire to grow in ministry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn sound, video, and lighting systems
