Sales Development Representative

Reports to:     AVP of Business Development

Department:Sales

FLSA Status:Exempt

 

Position Summary:  The Sales Representative will focus on new customer acquisition and additional sales to existing customers in a defined region. This role will support B2B sales for janitorial, specialty, resale, and maintenance services. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Generate leads for all service lines for AVPs, BDM, or self

Assists in the close of contracts and specialty sales for services Assists in upselling existing customers.Research and qualify leads Outbound cold calling Identify correct contacts, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipeline.Secure in-person sales appointmentsPresent and/or deliver digital information to potential clients as needed.

  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, and trade shows
  • Tracking personal metrics
  • Maintains database and systems of prospective client information.
  • Participates in trade shows, networking, and community events as needed.

 

Position Qualifications/Skills:

 

  • Previous sales experience in route sales, outbound call center, inside sales experience, or other sales experience preferred
  • Good in-person presentation skills and phone presence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Comfortable making cold calls
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Tenacity to handle rejection
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Strong computer skills, Google and Microsoft Office products
  • CRM or marketing software experience as a plus (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Pardot.)
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License

 

Travel:

 

This position requires up to 50% travel.
