Sales Representative

Position Overview:
AeroDefense seeks a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to support our mission of providing industry-leading drone defense systems. The ideal candidate will engage with prospective clients, generate leads, and nurture relationships to drive revenue growth. This position requires a mix of proactive outreach, excellent communication skills, and technical aptitude to understand our solutions and the industries we serve.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve or exceed quarterly new business and expansion sales revenue goals
  • Lead Generation & Qualification:
    • Identify and research potential customers through various channels, including CRM databases, online platforms, and networking events.
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and readiness for further engagement.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings to introduce AeroDefense solutions to prospects.
    • Develop a strong understanding of customer pain points and align product features to their needs.
  • Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product management team to develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Assist with preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations.
  • CRM Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
    • Track pipeline progress and report key metrics to the sales manager.
  • Market Insights:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential growth opportunities.
    • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to refine messaging and features.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in CUAS, technology, defense, or security-related industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive edge.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g, HubSpot) and MS Office (Google Suite) tools.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn AeroDefense's products and their applications.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a knack for problem-solving.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with drone detection technology, security systems, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience selling to government or enterprise clients.
