Location: East Moline, IL 61244
Assignment Length: 12 Months + (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Contract / Contingent
Pay Rate: Hourly on W2 (All-Inclusive on SGS Payroll; Does Not Include PTO/Holiday Pay)
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Work Location: 100% Onsite
Position Overview
This role supports Supply Management operations by working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, material flow, and project execution. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supply management activities involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and management to deliver expected results
- Assist with coordination of supply management projects across disciplines and facilities
- Support prioritization of multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates clearly across teams
- Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, tracking, and documentation
What Skills You Need
- Experience leading teams or managing projects with multiple stakeholders (academic or professional)
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional project teams
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Exposure to negotiation and conflict resolution concepts
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus as needed
- Strong computer and systems skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience or exposure to Supply Management areas such as:
a. Supplier integration
b. Strategic or tactical supply management
c. Material flow
d. Scheduling or forecasting
e. Logistics - Experience with SAP or PDM workflows
- Experience analyzing data and solving problems
- Business or Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Exposure to sourcing, cost reduction, or change management
