Quality Intern
**This is a temporary role expected to last about six (6) months, with the possibility of extension.**
SUMMARY:
The Quality Intern will support the Quality Department in day-to-day quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives. The role provides hands-on exposure to quality management systems and practical quality operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work on projects as assigned by the Quality manager
• May work on the Production floor to learn manufacturing process
• Work with databases to input, track, and analyze data, including creating dashboards to support review and problem solving initiatives
• Contribute to the exchange of ideas, troubleshooting, continuous improvement efforts
• Assist in monitoring compliance with quality procedures and standards
• Participate in process improvement and quality projects
• Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) tracking
• Help with internal audits preparation and follow-up actions
• Among other duties and responsibilities, may be assigned projects from other
COMPETENCIES/REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge and experience with resistance welding processes and equipment
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Currently pursuing a degree in Quality, Engineering, Science, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (ISO standards preferred)
