Marketing Communications Intern

JOB SUMMARY: As our marketing communications intern, you will be a key player in our "Not Your Average Internship" program. You will collaborate with your fellow interns on a capstone project: creating compelling content to promote the program itself. You'll also serve as a brand ambassador within the intern cohort, leading activities and building a strong community. A core part of your experience will be learning how to leverage AI tools to enhance our marketing effectiveness and streamline our internal processes

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

  • Collaborate with the intern cohort to create and generate promotional content for our internship program.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, helping to lead and organize activities for the intern group.
  • Learn and assist in implementing AI-powered tools and processes to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Contribute to day-to-day marketing tasks and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment 
  • Creative path: Create engaging visual content (graphics, photos, videos) for our digital channels. Assist in planning and executing photo and video shoots. Explore and utilize AI tools for innovative video and content creation. 
  • Analytical path: Help analyze and streamline our lead collection and management processes. Support the optimization of sales follow-up sequences using CRM data. Use data analytics to identify trends and provide insights for marketing campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2026.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, Design, or a related field.
  • A strong desire to learn and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for collaboration
  • For creative path: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator).Comfortable operating a camera for both photography and videography. Familiarity with or a strong interest in using AI for content creation (especially video) is a major plus.
  • For analytical path: Foundational knowledge of data analytics principles. Experience with or training in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is highly preferred. A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

 

SHIFT/SITE:

Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Shift: M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: New Hartford, NY

 

WAGE DISCLOSURE:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$17.00 per hour - $23.00 per hour
