Postdoctoral Research Fellow
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join a collaborative team at the forefront of atmospheric and optical measurement technology. This position requires a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering (with a focus on pulsed power), or a closely related physical science discipline. A strong experimental background in pulsed power or plasma physics is essential, as the role will play a key part in multiple DoD/DOE funded projects related to the development of new techniques for the generation of radiation. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the design, development, testing, and validation of next-generation pulsed power sources. This position offers extensive hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of new pulsed power target systems. The fellow will utilize their demonstrated expertise in experimental physics to achieve project goals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for success in this collaborative environment.
