Our team values professionalism, attention to detail, and strong client relationships.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career designer who enjoys working directly with people and takes pride in being prepared, organized, and dependable.

This is a client-facing, selection-focused role in a showroom environment. You will work closely with homeowners to guide material, finish, and fixture selections while supporting the design and documentation process behind the scenes. We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, follows through, and understands the importance of representing the firm professionally.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Showroom is closed on Saturdays and Sundays

  • Occasional flexibility to stay a bit late when client needs require

  • Professional, in-person showroom environment

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with customers to guide kitchen and bath selections including materials, finishes, fixtures, and cabinetry

  • Prepare and update specifications, pricing, and project documentation

  • Communicate with clients, builders, and vendors via telephone and email, ensuring timely follow-up

  • Learn and use Buildertrend for project coordination and documentation

  • Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software to support design development as needed

  • Experience with Chief Architect is helpful but not required

  • Maintain organized samples, files, and showroom materials

  • Incorporate client feedback accurately into selections and documentation

Who You Are

  • A recent graduate (or graduating soon) with a degree in Interior Design or a related field

  • 0–2 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or showroom experience welcome)

  • Dependable and punctual — you show up prepared and on time

  • Comfortable speaking with clients on the telephone and following through on next steps

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks without constant reminders

  • Professional in appearance, communication, and attitude

  • Interested in learning the full process of residential kitchen and bath design

  • Stylish, thoughtful, and polished, with a strong sense of responsibility

Skills & Tools

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software

  • Willingness to learn Buildertrend

  • Experience with Chief Architect is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

What We Offer

  • Hands-on mentorship and real-world design experience

  • Direct exposure to client selections and builder coordination

  • Ongoing product education, including regular in-showroom training with manufacturer and vendor representatives

  • A structured, supportive, and professional work environment

  • Predictable weekday schedule with work–life balance

  • Opportunity to grow within Agentis Kitchen & Bath
